Book value does not mean much for a car like this, but it is around $3200. It has 228K on it. It runs great. I had the timing belt done at 217K. There is no rust and the interior is near perfect. Somebody that wants a yellow T5R Sedan should make me an offer before I start putting it on Craigslist, Autotrader and cars.com. I want to sell it quickly because I found a car I want to buy, but will not buy it until I sell the Volvo. I doubt KBB is $3200 for a 20yo car with 228k on it. You're right, it's $3,048 if the car is in excellent condition. But that's KBB. NADA, which tends to price higher says $3,050 is the low end of retail and thinks average price could go as high as $4400. And if you look around at the recent history of yellow T-5R sedans many of them fall in the 180-200k mileage range and often list unmodified at $3000 - 4000. In the piictures I have Volan wheels on the car that came off my 97 R that I owned previously. They need new tires so right now Ihave 15" wheels on it with snow tires. You will get both sets of wheels. You also see the spoiler on the back is from a 97 R painted yellow to match the car. I have the original spoiler if you don't like the look of the 97 R spoiler. You will get both when you buy the car and they are very easy to change. I even have a brand new mounting kit if you want to change it. The original spoiler is in perfect condition, the one that's on it has some scratches and the paint is chipping. I also have a set of NA Cams that I have never installed that I can include it you want them. I have a pint of yellow paint that matches the car that I will include with the car. Please PM me if you are interested. I had no idea what the car is worth or what they are currently selling for. As a matter of fact I don't know of another yellow T5R for sale anywhere. I really want to sell it to somebody that knows what they are getting. I have not put an ad on Autortrader, cars.com or Craigslist yet, but several people have told me I will get more for it there than i can here. Burn-E Posted April 14, 2015 Report Share Posted April 14, 2015 Your price is more than fair if the mechanicals are as good as the interior and exterior of the car appear in the photos.You should list it on Swedespeed, Matthews Volvo Site and Turbobricks as well.
