phunktified
So a friend acquired a volvo and is pestering me about this, personally have had the same 'issue' in the wagon as theres only a spot for 1 / 2 of the antenna cables in my aftermarket headunit, shotty fm reception as a result I believe, I don't really listen to the radio anyways but I am assuming it is because the antenna of choice is not hooked up .. searches for an aftermarket coupler or adapter have come up empty. I am sure someone here has figured this out in the past, what should I be looking for? Thanks
BEJinFBK
I see P80's in your sig, so I'm guessing that's what you're asking about. The deal is you've got two separate antennas, a main and a sub.Use the regular size connector ( the main ) and you should be good. Be sure to connect the power antenna wire, regardless of whetherit's an S or a V. The S will need the voltage to raise the power antennaand the V will need the juice for the window antenna's power amp.
phunktified
my friend's brother's car, turns out its an 02 S80, looks like theres prob an extra adapter for that, in my case may be a shotty connection to the window antenna, will check as time permits - thx!
