TorontoR Posted May 25, 2015 Report Share Posted May 25, 2015 Hi all, can some please recommend the best dimensions of a double din system for the 850. Ideally, i want it to look as OEM as possible. Should I be looking at systems that are 7 inches wide, by 4.5 inches tall.....or something smaller.... andyb5 Posted May 26, 2015 Report Share Posted May 26, 2015 Not sure what you mean here. A double-DIN chassis receiver is a standard size. The design of the face panel will affect how it looks in the dash, but all the units are exactly the same size. A single DIN stereo is 7x2, and a double DIN stereo is 7x4.
