scgator62
Recently I had a puff of smoke appear from drivers side window, now none of the window or mirror controls work on either door. If I put the top down the windows work. No fuses under the hood are blown. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm thinking a wire may have een affected but can't seem to locate or access at the location between door mount where it is mounted in rubber tube. Any insight would be appreciated, thanks. BEJinFBK
Check fuse 35 again. Leave the fuse in placeand use a meter to look for voltage coming inand leaving the fuse. You can do it easily withthe small metal tangs on top of the fuse. If it checks out, look for voltage at the switchon the brown/orange wire in position A2. If the power doesn't get that far, start followingthe wire back towards the fuse box. You may have a bad contact in the door connector.
