where is the switch for door light

I am trying to trace a parasitic drain on my battery by pulling fuses.  I need to know how to disable the switch on the drivers side door so that I can check the fuses in the interior fuse box.

The battery and alternator check out good but I have doubts about the battery.  Alternator was replaced with on from Oreilly(didnt have time to replace with a volvo alternator)

so it is only a couple months old.

2002 Volvo v70

Thanks, my automotive electrical abilities are poor!

The switch is in the latch. With a door open, shove a screw driver in the latch and push it in to latch it down and you will be able to lock the car to check for parasitic draw. I usually do it to all doors and the hood and liftgate for good measure. After all modules shut down, draw should be under 25mA, 50mA with the alarm on, iirc. Just make sure to open the door before you go to actually close it when you're done or you'll cringe at the noise it makes when you accidentally shut the door on the striker with the latch closed.
