I know about the switch from v-band clamp to a normal silicone adapter in MY2005, but I swear I have read about some performance improvements. I tried searching but I can't find anything. Can't find it but when I mentioned that K24's have a habit of losing turbine blades at higher turbo pressures he responded that the later K24's were stronger/more reliable. aharres Posted July 27, 2015 Author Report Share Posted July 27, 2015 I think I found the thread you're referring to.Autotech Motor - "Nope, we had alot of problems on the early K24´s, most also bent axles but they made them better pretty fast, all the T5 K24´s with hose pipe instead of v-band are upgraded.
