orangedog
Does anyone know if the windshield washer fluid reservoir on the 2007 S80 is accessible without removing the bumper? Mine has a leak that I suspect is in or near the fluid level sensor. Got a low fluid warning yesterday so I poured in a gallon only to have it run out onto my driveway. I figure the leak must be near the bottom of the reservoir since it didn't even hold enough to clear the low washer fluid warning.
Fran9690
Does it have headlamp washers? The convoluted hose breaks a lot and causes low washer fluid message to come on. If you unscrew LF fender well and lower air guide on bumper you can get better access to reservoir but to replace I think you might need to pull bumper cover. orangedog
Yes, it has the headlamp washers. I'll see if I can get under the air guide. I'm assuming that is what the "panel" (for lack of a better word) is under the driver side under the car beneath the headlamp?
dodenhoff
Fran9690 is right, but I didn't remove bumper cover and it was possible for me to make repairs after removing reservoir. I had to glue a short piece of rubber tubing to the sprayer and the broken plastic tubing. I took half the lower bumper cover screws out but only to pull the air dam down far enough to drop the reservoir. Good luck. Mine works great now, yours should too!
