UncleBoost Posted September 2, 2015 Report Share Posted September 2, 2015 Hello all. I have a 2000 S80 that I have swapped in 2004 Tail lights.. These tails have LED's for brake lights and of course I am getting the Check Brake light warning. I now have access to the shunt resistors from a 2004 s80. Does anyone know if there is a difference in the resistive values between the years prior to their led design before I go to swapping shunts? Theoretically Im thinking whatever shunt(s) used in the 04/ oem LED brake lights should correct the warning i am getting. Anyone have any dealing with this mod?
