05 SR Cavelli turbo
Hi I'm new to the site. I have a 2005 Volvo S 60 R. I'm in the process of tuning it, and my tuner says I'm running way to lean at wide open throttle. I just put in a new fuel pressure sensor about two months ago so i'm pretty sure that's not the problem. When I hook my diagnostic tool to my car it says I'm running in about 50 psi. Do you think it could be my fuel pump? My PEM? please help! The car runs fine but my tuner says I'm way too lean at WOT. He will not complete the tune until I figure out why my car is running lean. Flukey
First off you should go with the basics before buying a $250 tool.I am not bashing your reply TTB. This guy is a newby, and probably needs a little education. In my OPINION, go first with a stage 1 tune.Look that up, it is on here. While you are doing it, check all the vac lines for any abnormality, your R is about at that age where vac lines are degraded and need replacement. There are many things to look at before having a "Tune" done to it.These Volvo turbo engines must have good plumbing before attempting upgrades.
