Gage
So i am getting a p0202 cyl 2 code on our 1998 V70 with a BAD Misfire, i switched the injector to another spot and it works fine how ever i still pull 202 with a misfire i tested the wires going to said injector and i am only pulling 2.50 volts to the green wire and over 6 from the ecm Any ideas ? gdog
Those voltages don't sound correct. You should have 12v (referenced to ground) all the time on one side of the injector connector while the engine is running. Test another (e.g. #3) injector connector to see which side is the hot (12v supply) side and then see if you see that same voltage on #2. If you don't, you got an open (or high resistance) in the 12v feed wire to #2.The other side of the injector connector is connected to the ecu; it pulls this side to ground (when commanded on) to turn the injector on. If this wire has on open (or high resistance) in it, you will see 12v (or close to that) on this wire on #2.The other possibility would have been a bad injector but you've eliminated that by swapping injectors. Seems you have an issue in your injector harness..?
