bowtiekilla02 Posted October 3, 2015 Report Share Posted October 3, 2015 i have a 901 radio I tried in my car with a 850 r amp that I just got also, I do have the v70 amp to go with the 901 just waiting on the harness to get here. When plugged the 901 into my plugs it only plays the front tweeters in the dash. The only cord I am missing from plugging stuff in the back of it is the green plug that I believe is a single wire plug and the Dolby digital plug in the back. Would me not having the Dolby processor cause it not to play through the rest of the speakers? Or is the 850 amp not doing its job? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Having a hard time putting a picture up but here's one on eBay look at the 8th picture it'll show the back of it. Big Will Posted October 7, 2015 Report Share Posted October 7, 2015 I used an 850R amp with my SC-901 for years and it worked perfectly - no audio difference to using the V70R amp as both are 4x50 watt. You don't need the Dolby processor.
