Brad850
Problem is I replaced the alt once in 2010 right after I graduated highschool with most likely the cheapest option. At this point I wouldn't even consider installing anything other than oem or oem equivalent equipment. Everything in the engine bay but the alternator and cables is basically new.I'm assuming the Bosch on fcp is a solid choice?
H0lD mY d6InK
Yes to the Bosch. If I was going to buy one today, I would get it from FCP due to them having the best warranty.Could do a junkyard run, but you are taking a chance that it might fail in 10k. adamdrives
For serious? Go to autozone etc. They will test batteries/alternators.

Brad850
Alternator is in and the motor is running better than ever! Won't be able to drive it until tomorrow but I don't expect to have any issues.
