I know you're using a Sachs 707 PP, but do you think the ACT disk work well with the 850 R PP?

More surface area, the springs are larger and it just generally looks suited for more power. I can't comment on the difference in the coeffcient of friction, but I would assume its the same. It would be fine with the 850R PP, but I'm not really sure it would be an upgrade, if you already had the 850R disc.

Nice work! So much better driving awd manual!!!!

Not really surprising to see a welded sway bar snap - pretty much inevitable over time. Try & get the IPD one.

Did you find a NOS carrier bracket, or repair /refinish the original?

Thanks hussein! I definitely couldn't have done it without your bracket. I ended up using a spare sway that Andy pulled off of one of the parts cars that was floating around the shop. It was 19mm. I eventually want something a little bigger, but it definitely beats not having one! I ended up just buying a new carrier bracket. Mine was far gone enough that I felt better spending the money on a new one and not worrying about it than repairing the old one.

Just to make sure I got it right, is this the clutch you have installed?

Yep! I got mine off of amazon, the pricing seems about right.

Some general updates:

The car has been running AWD now for a little while and it is insane! Fresh AWD, fresh alignment, and some winter mode tires and mud flaps. I also treated myself to some 302mm brakes that I had the brackets laying around for. They feel great! I also changed out some of the bulbs inside and out to LEDs. I apologize for the crappy pictures, as my phone's camera is scratched slightly. I also apologize for the lack of updates- I am at the tail end of my important engineering classes so between projects and finals it's hard to find time to work on this.

I didnt escape the 302mm brake install entirely unscathed:

Oddly enough, the bolt wasn't even in all the way, and the shank came out of my hub with no tools. I will likely pick up a whole new set this winter. After driving it for a while, I am quite content with how it performs. Part of me wants to go 19t + tune, but this isn't really a car I want to chase power with (yet). This winter will likely see the 3" TB install, and maybe some other quality of life modifications, but nothing too extreme. Depending on happens with the BMW, I might see a shift of focus into building that up as well.
