S8ET6
2000 S80T6 with 197K miles... Getting the low oil pressure message at idle once the motor reaches operating temps. It goes away at approximately 1200 rpm. So, I've order the oring kit from FCP and it looks like I'll be pulling the oil pan to replace the o-rings in my T6 during the Thanksgiving holiday. I found a write up (with pictures) for the T5 on MVS - my question is: Does anyone know if the T6 has the same number of orings, and are they in the same location(s), as the T5? Ihatespeedbumps
I haven't done one in a while, but I believe it's the same number. That kit has o-rings for virtually every model, so you'll be fine. Be advised, you will have to drop the subframe a pretty signficant amount to get that oil pan out.
