Ghost Shadow
Yes, its NON-volvo content on VS. Dont like it, move on to the next thread some members wanted to see what can happen when i get my hands on a mini van LOL Swore i'd never buy a mini van, and i didnt...this was free or it was going to be donated to charity. Its been sitting in the backyard and used for storage by a family member for the last 2 years. I sold my work van, 2007 Dodge caravan to make room for my free work van. Its a 1995 EGG with 185k. The next morning after it came from NYC on a flatbed. searched craigslist and found 1999 maxima wheels Repossessed my Volvo branded Thule cargo box from my uncle Van had a bad issue with oil leaks and would stall out after it hit a water puddle. Well it had the common valve cover leak and distributor seal leak And the stall was because the idiots that did a tune up DID not reinstall the distributor cap o ring like you see in the next picture cleaned out the common EGR carbon build up problem with it running right after new plugs, cap, rotor and wires...it was time to tackle the suspension. Heck, if im going to fix suspension then i need to know if i'm going VIP or Redneck with this van. translation, am i going down with big wheels or up with big tires. I started looking into ways to lift it! FAILED attempt at doing a strut mount relocation, like i seen on a bunch of subbie forums. doesnt work for a toyota. puts the strut mount right into the side of the wheel. ended up using 2" rubber spacer blocks inside the front springs. for now its a cheap mod. i'm collecting parts to so a proper coilover when i get time. did 1965 ford mustang front springs that are 2" longer than my stocks for the rear moog 8088 springs for those that are interested. took off the old eagle f1 tires that were 25.5" tall and installed 28.5" tall General Grabber AT2 in 215-70-16 flavor interior mods started. LED strip mounted on upper portion of windshield Car accident, where another motorist failed to yield to on coming traffic, thats me. caused this made me get pissed because the bumper was rubbing and i did this Did some searching on craigslist and from prior experienced figured something from a 07 and newer jeep JK wrangler might work. for $35 and 10 miles away i scored a smittybuilt tube bumper that is undesirable in the jeep world. 20 year old van needed new brakes lines. there was a guy spamming the volvospeed page on fb so i asked him to make me longer brake lines for my lifted previa of course no one makes them but www.apexbrakes.com made them for me, all 7 lines for $85 shipped brake line swap out time old crapped out lines while i did the brake lines and the wheels were off, time to paint them black and highlight the letters the retrofit source is 15 miles away from my house in Atlanta. So after a trip to a local pick and pull, i found two good doner headlamps for $40 for the pair. projector retrofit time the mockup is using a H4 LED bulb modified to fit into a D2S socket. what you see below is a 3600LM LED bulb. they are so clean and nice. no warm ups and instant on the install black headlight mod! white halos sealing her up other side headlight ready to close up. all done and closed up easiest quick retro, took all of 1 hour for both sides black wheels and raised white letters

bob82pigdog
Yes! I love it. Do you plan on de-fluting the inside of the headlight lenses where the projector would shine through?

tuner4life
OMG! I got a little giddy when I saw this thread. I would never own a minivan except for one of these. They are just so cool, especially the AWD/SC versions. I would probably go the other way with it and lower it, but either way, love this build. Cant wait to see where this goes! Burn-E
You know Steve is going to come up with something wicked in the paint/vinyl realm. The question is whether he can top the camo lifted XC70 scheme.
