but where to put it so many people will read it...

or are you just talking about a place to be able to quick find it and post in N00b threads? (that's a good idea! )

Maybe we should force people to watch it as part of the sign-up process :D . Like as soon as they submit all of their info, a window opens and links to this.

Can't you bastards stay on topic for once??

Impossible!

And make it a flash movie that plays during the "registration" process that cannot be exited, otherwise it cancels the registration process. Or, have it play every time someone logs in for the first week of their "membership" if you could call it that...

28.8 posts per day for Carson  B) .

Probably just went up with this post...

Also, somewhat on topic now. What are the benefits of Jewel headlights, do they act more like projectors? That could be good when using HIDs... I personally am not sure if I like them or not based on the pictures I have seen... Just curious B)

I will probably go the E-Code lens route w/ euro turn signals unless the Jewel's are that much better.

Didn't someone take a set of E36 jewels and retrofit them for our cars? I htink he hangs out on SS a lot...

I believe a guy took the projectors out of some Bimmer headlights and retrofitted them into the jewel setup. He posted a bunch of pics of the process on VPTuning, but I don't remember who it was. The light output on the jewels seems a bit better than stock IMO, nothing incredible though. They have a sharper cutoff as well, like the E-Code lights. If you want to do HID's in the jewel headlights, you have to remove the reflector in the housing, otherwise light will go wacko and will be everywhere except in front of your car. And Carson, believe me, pictures cannot do the jewel headlights justice. I've posted pics of them on my car and they look a 100x better in real life.
