It was on my S70 and then my son's 850 which went off road a few times. You can tell it's well used and has major scratches and some dings. There is not tear or hole in it. It includes all the hardware. The rubber grommets that are used to hold the plate on the front of the car are notorious for getting torn and they need replaced especially after some mechanic who doesn't have a clue tightens them too much. In my son's case it was all the oil leaking that soaked them and screwed them up. New ones are arriving from IPD in the next few days and will be provided with this skid plate. Otherwise, I saw that Lowes sells them too for a nominal fee (when you need to replace them). On my S70 that also has an IPD skid plate we welded nuts where the big holes are in the subframe that these grommets go into so I don't have to worry with these on that car- it's a permanent solution. Sorry for digressing. Anyway, this skid plate will protect your oil pan and transmission and is highly recommended. I couldn't imagine driving a Volvo without one personally. Who cares what it looks like anyway? No one sees it unless they're under the car. Shipping to California is about $50 so is most likely out of the question. I checked to mail to California (as per a member request) and it would be hard to ship it for less than $48. I'm sure closer doesn't necessarily mean much cheaper and that's with UPS Ground. USPS is ridiculously more. So, it really is a local pick up item. Like I said, I'd be willing to drive half way to meet you if you are within about 2 hours... IE: Chattanooga, Asheville, maybe even Nashville area, depending on what part of town you're in.
