Guest Gregory
Hi Big Will, I've reading your posts for years! Trying to reach you with a question.. For my V70 r 2000 U.S. car, I am going to do the stock euro front parts: spring-3546641/shock-9473850. For the rear: shocks-8626025/ however the euro spring #9200184 is not available…Can I just use the 'regular R' #9173775 rear spring?? I', At least the euro nivo won't pump up the rear as much as the stock nivo.. also I am adding IPD front and rear sway bars. What do you think? Thank you for you help! Big Will
Hi Gregory. Yes you can definitely use the 9173775 rear spring. Most of the height difference should be in the actual nivomat shock rather than the spring. Also, the front springs that you quoted are not the spring that came with lowered chassis cars. I think that was a mistake on my part. You are better off using 9169021. The front shocks with that part number are indeed the ones listed as coming with lowered chassis Rs but they should be the same as any Sachs front shock. I believe the numbering differences were only to designate car model differences for Volvo. Also, if you want to save a little money, I think Lesjöfors has a good alternative: Front spring: 4095836 Rear spring: 4295841
