ArMiGer
Can I load stock (Motronic Suite) 446 bin which come from s70 2.0T5 (226hp) on a 608 ECU and plug into S70 2.0T (180hp). The difference between T5 and T is just in the turbos as I know. Engines should be the same. What do you guys think?
German850R
The immo won't let you.
ArMiGer
So what would be the better option? 1. Read the original file and change the maps. (original immo on) 2. Transfer the maps to the 608 bin (no immo, right?) Is it possible to safely do one of the above? Any suggestions?
German850R
Use the 608 bin without immo as this will also enable you to datalog etc.

What do you guys think? the difference is HPT vs LPT... so much more than just the turbo... investigate a little about different engines/specs - then start to think about selftuning the maps differ quite alot.. greetz

Would it be enough to just change the maps that come from 2.0T5? 10 hours ago, aziz said: the difference is HPT vs LPT... so much more than just the turbo... investigate a little about different engines/specs - then start to think about selftuning the maps differ quite alot.. greetz Actually I did some research and it's appear that engines from 2.0T5 and 2.0T are with the same internals and compression ratio. I would take the risk to put some more boost on the turbo, as the stock T5 HPT is around 9.5-10psi, and the LPT 2.0T is around 6-8psi.
lookforjoe
You haven't explained why you want to do this. Timing maps are not the same either. Have you investigated using TunerPro? It's pretty easy to switch tables around in that once you have your ECU flashed with a non immobilizer bin & use the appropriate XDF & ADX files
