Avinitlarge
On the RN engine, there is a water line from the side of the head to the thermostat housing. Does anyone know what purpose is serves exactly? Can it be deleted without any issues?
Ihatespeedbumps
It keeps any moisture that may exist in the PCV banjo bolt from freezing.
wizzard_al
^^ The PCV system sends fumes to the intake pipe before the turbo inlet, through the PTC, and the water line runs beside it to keep those fumes from freezing. The PTC also has a heater in it because the water line doesn't go all the way to the PTC.
