bob850 Posted June 10, 2016 Report Share Posted June 10, 2016 Looking to put a carpet from a V70 (98-2000) into my 850. I was wondering if the carpet from a 98-00 V70XC would also work. Does anyone know if the floor tunnel is any different (due to the driveshaft) in the XC version from those years? Blockpartie Posted June 10, 2016 Report Share Posted June 10, 2016 The floor tunnel is the same on FWD and AWD cars. Carpets can be exchanged between 850 and X70 models without problem. However the carpets are different for estate and saloon models; coupé & convertible are different as well. As such rear carpets from a V70 will fit only a 850 estate, same thing for S70 and 850 saloon. Front carpets should be exchangeable between all models even though there are slight differences. Compared to the 850 cars the pillar trim on the front carpet section - at front doors - fits a little differently though the carpet will look okay, it doesn't have as much spare material to tuck into the interior trim. Sedan/wagon rear carpet is different, the wagons have some slots/cutouts for the rear seat hardware that the sedan doesn't have. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
