Battleship
If that's the case, do I need to take it to a dealer? The battery gets drained every time I shut off the engine. I'm also thinking that the battery is not being fully charged or something. After 45 minutes of just sitting there the car wouldn't crank over anymore just really rapid machinegun like loud clicking sound when I turned the key. Bad battery maybe? Bad alternator? The guy before me replaced the starter, but that didn't help any. He says he replaced the battery, but the one that's in there is definitely too small for the battery compartment and it's a duralast which I have no idea whether or not that's a good thing. Tomorrow I'm going to pull the fuse to the climate control fan and see if that's actually what's eating the battery alive. I hope it's not too intermittent for that. I heard that the afterblower feature can be turned off, Anyone know how to do that? Any better ideas where to start troubleshooting?
Ihatespeedbumps
The blower will run for a short time 60 minutes after the vehicle has been turned off. Does the blower motor keep running as soon as the key is turned off? Have you attempted to check parasitic draw?
Battleship
I replaced the battery with an expensive one and it doesn't drain down.
