smithbd Posted June 19, 2016 Report Share Posted June 19, 2016 Bought this Volvo and found these cords when I was trying to figure out why the driver side rear door speaker was completely out. I don't know if these cords are the culprit though. They connect in under the glove box (splice shown) and extend to the trunk. They didn't leave the sub behind, nor have I found any other modifications. I'm wondering if this was just to provide output to the sub or if there might be an opportunity to use this as an input. Also wondering what might have screwed up the rear drivers side speaker. I already took the panel off and didn't find anything wrong with the connection. Isn't it weird that the other one would be fine but this one isn't just blown, but completely out? Me thinks they screwed up the kicker wiring. Obviously not an audio tech though.
