2013XC60 Shortcut to run the video cable from display to under seat?

I am wrapping up the install of the Volvo rear park assist camera and need to run the small dia. video cable from the camera ECU under the seat to the display in the center stack.  Volvo's html/pdf install instructions show pulling out quite a bit of the center stack to get to the display.  Some of that pulling is for the install of the CAM button in the button panel which is supposed to be removed from the center stack. I know that's not necessary since one can drill a hole in the blank button and pop it out with a pick tool without removing the panel from the center stack then pop in the CAM button.

Anyway, are there any shortcuts to running the cable to the back of the display and inside the dash to the driver's A pillar? (per the Volvo instructions)
