hello, my 2002 s60t5m seems to have a slow leak on the back side of the brake master cylinder in the cabin side, does anyone has a detailed instructions or link for a how to replace it? including the bleed process for the cylinder? can it be bench bled? how does that work with the two traction control sensors?

thanks you

I've never had success bench bleeding personally. I simply remove the master (2 nuts on the booster and the torx bolt that holds on the reservoir) and first bleed at the brake lines coming out of the master, then move to the lines on the ABS pump and then to the wheels if needed.

Also, in my personal experience, it helps to have someone pump up the pedal when bleeding. If you find that you have gotten air in your clutch system follow this video I made for reverse clutch bleeding once you have confirmed all the air is out of the brake circuits.

ok thanks, which lines on the abs pump do you bleed? the two that come from the master?  I do have a motive pressure bleeder so I might use that, but I can also get someone to pump the brake. so I just install the new master cylinder and then top off fluids and hook the lines up then pump the brake and crack the lines until fluid comes out right?
