1998 S70.  901 stereo with underseat amp.  I have the aux in through the 6cd changer slot.  Cant think of the name but the yellow box that everyone uses.  Recently wile using the MP3 player if I hit a bump 3 channels cut out and I only get sound through the driver door speaker.  If I turn off the stereo and turn it back on the sound returns to all speakers until I hit a bump again.  The catch is that this doesn't happen when I use the radio.  If it didn't turn back on when I shut the radio down and turned it back on I would suspect the aux unit but as it is now I have no clue.  Suggestions?

It's a long shot, but unplug the 6 pin DIN

AMP  connector at the back of the 901 and

plug it back in. You may have dirty contacts

and reseating the plug might help.

For what it's worth, I had the same aux unit in my car and it went bad eventually. I think something shorted internally. I replaced it with a Grom unit and haven't had a problem since.
