JohnHe
I just swapped the engine and transmission in my 2000 Volvo s70. when I started it up the car immediately revs to 3000 rpms, when I put it in gear the Rpms lower to 1200 but it jumps up and down. the is throwing random misfire codes and faulty communication with throttle body. I switched the coils and the same cylinders are misfiring. I switched the throttle body and idle air control valve and no change. Anyone have a clue of what could be causing this
hootie6828
If you have a 2000 you shouldn't have an idle air control valve. What year car did the new motor come from?
