thebeav11 Posted February 8, 2017 Report Share Posted February 8, 2017 I got a sweet 2006 V70R 6 speed auto with Elevate race cat, exhaust, and ECU tune and about 85,000 miles. I was having trouble with 2nd gear shift flare and rough shifting so I put a new Valve Body in the tranny with Mobil 3309 fluid and the car drove like new for about a month. Now is locks into 5th gear after it warms up and doesn't come out until it completely cools down. Then it drives fine for 15-30 min through all gears, then same thing. The only code it throws is TCM-0131, but I can't find that in my database. Anybody know? I suspect a sticky solenoid or valve, but surprised since I bought a brand new part, not a refurb. hootie6828 Posted February 8, 2017 Report Share Posted February 8, 2017 Tcm-0131 Linear pressure solenoid SLC1, Signal too low. Dtc is stored if the TCM registers an open circuit in the circuit to solenoid slc1. Sounds like you may a bad solenoid, which is crapping out when it heats up. hootie6828 Posted February 9, 2017 Report Share Posted February 9, 2017 Slc1 is the upper left solenoid when looking at the valve body from the front of the car. Looks like the wires leading to the solenoid are terminals b10 and b11 on the trans plug. Resistance should be 5.0-5.6 ohms. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
