rusheR Posted February 21, 2017 Report Share Posted February 21, 2017 Hey guys. I hope someone can help me out with this issue I have on my m56 swapped 98 v70R. I want to put it back for sale and really need to figure this out beforehand Every time I throw it in neutral the RPMs will go up all the way to the redline. I have to blip the throttle to bring it back. I do have a CEL, and it's p0505. The problem started quite a while ago and RPMs would just stick every now and then, but it got worse and is a pain to drive now I did smoke test and found nothing. Cleaned and then got another used IAC. Cleaned throttle body and checked the cable. Checked intake mani for leaks and I'm all outta ideas now. Anyone?
