ArMiGer
Hi everybody, looking for some help with brakes issue on 99 S70 T5 with ABS and STC, automatic transmission. The problem is as follow: When driving over 80 km/h, and if I enter wide right turn sharp, or changing the lines to the right, when I press the brake pedal it feels like a stone and the car is not stopping at all. The pedal stays hard until the car is turning. If I use enormous force, the car eventually slows down a bit and I feel the ABS is kicking. When exit the turn or when the steering wheel is straight, or when making left turn, or when the speed is under 80 km/h the car is stopping, no problems. I inspected the brake booster hose and it seems to be O.K. No visual leaks. What could be the reason? Any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Ihatespeedbumps
Did you take a look at the 3 way check valve off the intake manifold? They are known for blowing apart. Give each end a tug and see if it comes apart.
