Aren't the NA cars Denso? Or is that only the older 850s?

I believe they are in fact Denso.  IIRC VIDA says my mom's '04 is too.

Sorry started reading through about the Teagan (teal wagon) and wanted to make sure you were going down the right path with the manual swap / dads preference. The way they shift comes down to the tune too. I had no clutch sensor in mine for a few months and then we added one in and within a few runs we were able to change how it felt completely.

I'm not seeing where the issue is with the rear passenger door?

See that crease running diagonal from just forward of the handle to the aft edge of the plastic trim?

Justin had one in his C70 until he installed those skulls.  He had the steering wheel too iirc.

I would of kept that wood in the car but the shifter wood was destroyed and it was $350-$400 for a new one .... ouch

Oh yeah. Would never have seen it if you hadn't mentioned it, and I was looking pretty hard for the issue haha. I'd worry about the passenger rear quarter panel and bumpers and hood before touching that door. Also PDR is worth a shot as I'm sure you know

99 NA is Denso, not ME7. Older 850 NAs were M4.3, similar to the rest of the M4.3 used on the turbo cars.

99 NA is an odd one. Early RN motor with an ETM but no VVT.

Very old to old 850 with the N/A 20V engines used Bosch LH 3.2 Jetronic. That was switched to Bosch Motronic 4.4 for approx. the last two model years (exceptions apply).

The old 850 with the N/A 10V engine(s) used Siemens Fenix 5.2, as did the '97 & '98 S/V/C70 with the N/A 10V engines.

Some obscure engines got Motronic 4.3 despite being N/A, otherwise M4.3 was a 'turbo only' thing.

'99 and '00 S/V/C70 with N/A engines, which are by now all 20V, got Denso EMS (exceptions apply).
