hgray14
I ran a search but found nothing on this topic (which surprised me.) How much do Eibach lowering springs effect the comfort mode of an S60R? I like a sporty car, but am buying an S60R for the comfort mode I'll use while commuting, and don't want to lose to much of that.

prestige
Ride quality just a bit more bumpy then normal but keep in mind bad or worn suspension will just make it more noticeable.
laird
17 or 18 inch wheels, the brand and model of tire you choose will have as much to do with the ride as the springs. The 4C sensors, in their stock location, will guarantee that you still bang over every seam in the crappy California roads. I have IPD springs, over new Monroe 4C shocks. I like it, but it's not plush. I don't like comfort mode at all. It feels over-sprung and under-damped with lowering springs. I just replaced Pilot Sport AS 3 with P zero AS+. Much less banging over the small things, yet turns and grips as well as the Michelin.
