Chewie688i Posted July 10, 2017 Report Share Posted July 10, 2017 Hey everyone, just got a 2000 V70r. Drove it two hours home with no issue minus an intermittent oil light. Next morning I was driving trying to sort out various issues. While going up a hill, I accelerated to maintain speed, and now I have a whine coming from somewhere. It doesn't happen in neutral or in park, so I think it's drive train related. Any suggestions or things I should look at? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

troyhyde Posted August 19, 2017 Report Share Posted August 19, 2017 Intermittent oil light..... This normally happens when the car is down to about 1.5 quarts of oil in the crankcase. A few (a lot of) things could be wrong, I would check the oil ASAP. In fact, check all fluids / oil / trans / angle gear / power steering pump.
