Teal854T
2006 V50 T5 120k miles. I had P0300 ,0302, 0303, 0620 a day before. I reset the CEL and today I got P0300, 0304, 0305, 2292. It shakes during start up then it goes away. About a month ago I got P0303 and replaced spark plugs and coils. No more CEL until 2 days ago. What's going on? Need help. Ihatespeedbumps
You ever replaced the fuel pressure sensor? With the P2292 I'm thinking that may be what's causing the misfire codes.
Teal854T
I don't think it's been replaced. I bought it used about 6 months ago. Where is it located at? Thanks
Ihatespeedbumps
It's light gray and on the end of the fuel rail
Teal854T
Replaced fuel pressure sensor. Drove about 500+ miles for a few days with no issue. Now P0300, 0302, 0304, 0305. Car shakes a lot during start up. Runs fine after that. No problem while driving, no missing. Fuel or electrical problem? Thanks
Ihatespeedbumps
Did you use OEM plugs and coils?
thedrill
Do you have a lot of vacuum suction at the dipstick and oil cap? The oil filter housing is prone to fail with a split diaphragm and that can cause rough starting and misfire codes.
Teal854T
Coil and spark plugs from IPD. No vacuum at dipstick. Car shakes during cold start but not every cold start. It happens a few times a week. After reset the CEL car runs good for a few days and shakes come back again and CEL. I had bad coil on my other car. Bad coil gave me same obd code after reset. My Volvo give random p0301 to p0305. I'm going to replace injectors. Thanks
Ihatespeedbumps
Doubtful the injectors are going to do anything. I would measure the fuel pressure at the rail with a mechanical gauge, should be around 400kpa at idle. You also need to check residual fuel pressure, should not drop more than 100kpa in about 20 minutes.
Teal854T
I used wifi code reader with Torque Pro to get the fuel pressure reading. It showed 48.5psi (334kpa) at idle. Residual pressure 50psi (344kpa). Does this car have fuel filter outside the tank? Thanks
thedrill
The filter is built into the pump.
Ihatespeedbumps
Your torque pro app isn't going to give you residual pressure with the key off.
