Crewey
Hi guys, I have a 2003 C70. I was recently in a car park and as I slowly turned from one lane to another (less than 1mph) my nearside rear wheel mounted the kerb and then dropped off. I later noticed that the rear of the car was very skittish when driving. Upon further inspection the rear wheel is leaning in, toeing out and appears to have moved backwards! (see photos) I have had it in four garages and nobody can tell me what the problem is! I have renewed the axle bushes and the rear springs, but it has made no difference. Somebody suggested the rear beam may be bent, but my local Volvo dealer advised me that they have never heard of a beam bending, they have never sold one and that they are no longer available in any case! Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Dave
