hgray14
Does anyone here have experience with the Brembo drilled and slotted rotors from DRT Motorsports? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Made-From-Brembo-Rotors-Drilled-Slotted-Hamoincally-Balanced-Fits-S60R-V70R-Frnt/261823123231?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 I know the Brembo name, obviously, but am not sure if these buys are just blowing sunshine when discussing theirs being harmonically balanced. Also, I like the black coating on the hat of the Stoptechs, which the Brembo's don't have. But, they are about $50 less per set than the Stoptech. apeacock
Go with one or the other. Slotted being the preference. I like the stoptech slotted ones I have on my 2000 XC thus far. I can't find the tire rack right up again, but it made for a very convincing argument for slotted only if you wanted a different surface. I've had the ones with both in the disc and they cracked when very hot.

Either I'm not getting them all that hot, or our mild temps in Northern California help cool them down quick enough that they're not overheating. I'm liking the Brembo's, but will have to see if they have slotted without drilled.

rbodor3
I have drilled & slotted, and have for about 100k miles. I do regular inspections of rotors and pads, and have no cracking issues. I purchased mine from R1Concepts years ago. I went with them because of the weight savings versus just slotted/drilled, and - at the time - I thought they looked cooler. I don't autocross the S60.
