Tom Hart Posted July 23, 2017 Report Share Posted July 23, 2017 I have a 2004 S60R M66 with 132,000 miles. The manual transmission slips out of 6th gear. It has newer shift cables and linkage. I was told by a local transmission shop that parts aren't available for it, and I need to find a new transmission. The dealership quoted $4,300 for a new/rebuilt transmission. I haven't been able to find a used M66 in Colorado. 1. Do you know of anyone that works on the M66 transmission? 2. Ihatespeedbumps Posted July 24, 2017 Report Share Posted July 24, 2017 Tom, sounds like you've got a bad synchro in your current transmission.
