erikv11
The car hit a curb (OK the driver did - but it wasn't me!), and the sidewall split right at the rim. Hopefully the wheel is OK, looks it to me but we'll see how it balances. The tires are 235/45ZR17, Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06. The tires are about 1 year old, according to the PO. I've only had the car since the summer. The remaining three tires are all just under 9/32. Tred depth when new is listed at 10/32. The AWD does NOT work on this car, it is running FWD. However I am thinking of replacing the angle gear (and collar) this summer. I'm leaning towards just replacing the one bad tire, what do you think? erikv11
OK great, thanks for the reply. I'm going to order the one for now, need to get it on the road quickly. If I end up hearing otherwise later on then I can get another, so further comments welcome.
