MyBrickIsSlow
I know this isn't really the forum for this but I wasn't sure where was appropriate. I picked up a low milage s60 t5 last Saturday, with throttle body issues. Turned out their mechanic had installed a replacement backwards. So I made out pretty well. However there is some sort of charger in the center of the dash that I assumed was aftermarket, but has volvo stamped on it. Can someone tell me what it is? Brad850
Get rid of it before it's too late I guess I will contribute to this thread http://www.swedespeed.com/news/publish/Volvo_News/article_1232.html

Ihatespeedbumps
It's the mount for the Garmin Nuvi unit that Volvo offered as a more affordable alternative to the regular navigation. I actually installed a number of these back in the day. Nothing like drilling into the dash of a brand new car

bmdubya1198
That's an interesting option... really wondering why they didn't just have the full navigation feature. More Volvo weirdness...
