Error codes

Hi

My S60 T5 pop up with error codes P0193 (fuel pressure to high) and P0036 (O2 sensor related)

Is it safe to drive?

Im more concern on P0036 related to 02 sensor. Any possibility this 02 sensor causing lean air-fuel mixture?

Thanks

I wouldn’t worry about the O2 sensor code. That is about the heater circuit, which may be just a bad O2 sensor. It shouldn’t do any harm.

The other code would be my bigger concern. That could be an issue with the fuel pressure sensor. See this thread: http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthread.php?121174-P0193-Fuel-Rail-Pressure-Sensor-Circuit-High-Input#/topics/121174

Thanks.

Could the P0193 problem damage  the engine? If yes, in what way it could damage the engine?

Most of time it difficult to start the engine. Sometimes unstable idle happened

I use Ultragauge to reset the code. After reset, it's start normally

Thanks

Unstable idle sounds like that fuel pressure switch is likely your issue. Especially since you say it runs normally after clearing the codes.

It's probably not going to cause any damage, but I would make that a high priority to replace that.

Hi

The S60 T5 is year 2007. K24 turbo. Engine B5244T. Front wheel drive. 260bhp. 350nm. Already tuned but never test on dyno. The tuner said from his previous tuned, it should get 310 bhp and 420nm. Full higher flow TME exhaust system 3" to cat. After cat, 2.5". Ebay Fmic, Setrab 19 rows oil cooler and 16 rows Atf cooler. Deatschwerk 255 lph pump. The only restriction are 395cc blue injectors. Need green injectors

Great pulling power from 2500rpm.

I think need to remap and eliminate torque limiter in 1st and 2nd gear. Always beaten by Golf GTIs at traffic light.lol
