bmdubya1198
I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but I figured I'd ask anyway. After removing them, they look pretty damn similar to the AW50-42 axles I've dealt with, which I know will fit the M56. Do I need to harvest some '99-'00 axles or am I able to run these? Ihatespeedbumps
Not a plug and play, look at the ends where they go through the hubs.
bmdubya1198
Well the hub ends should be the same on all '99-'00 cars, they have the torque to yield bolts rather than the nut on the '98 and older cars.
BlackT5
2000R axles will not work with an M56 or M66

bmdubya1198
Just curious... will AW55 FWD axles work? I'm eyeing a 2001 C70 for parts, and it of course has the 5 speed auto. I have a feeling they won't, but it's worth a shot asking...
Ihatespeedbumps
If you are running in FWD mode then yes they should work.
bmdubya1198
I figured they probably should. If I pick up this car, we'll see what happens. If they don't work, it's not the end of the world.
