hgray14
(Sorry for what must be a repeat question, but I did a search and found nothing.) My 2007 S60R needs new tires. It's got the Faulkens that I bought it with, which have been great, but worn down very quickly. I've been running Kumho's for years on all my 850's and really like them because they grip well, last long, and are relatively low noise, but am not sure if there is a better choice for the S60R. Any suggestions?
sventastic
Do you need a year-round tire? Summer only? What kind of driving do you do? What kind of mileage would you like the tires to last for?
hgray14
Good questions - my bad. I'm in California, so cold/wet weather aren't really an issue but I like having all-weather tires. I'm mostly driving freeway, but do like to push it, but if there is a big cost savings will likely step back to an H rated tire from the W's that are coming up for this size. I got roughly 30K out of these, which isn't great, but is acceptable. A big concern is road noise. I tried a ton of tires on my 850s over the years and really like the Kumho's, which my mechanic told me he puts on lots of Volvos because they seem to work well on our cars. Any help is greatly appreciated.

BlackT5
My guess would be 235/45R17 or 235/40R18
