Strider90
Can anyone tell me the outside diameter of the turbo pipe on a 2005 volvo s40 2.5l? The L coming up from the turbo, just before the plastic starts. The non pressure side. It may be part of the turbo, not a separate pipe.
bmdubya1198
Part #20 here? https://parts.volvocarslisle.com/a/Volvo_2005_S40-25l-5-cylinder-Turbo/_51507_6800604/Air-cleaner-and-throttle-housing/GR-415925.html That's a separate part, still available from Volvo. Strider90
I think its part 12. Where a lot of turbo inlets are straight, this one either has a curved one, or a separate pipe just before #20 in that link. I'm trying to find out the size, so I can have everything ready before pulling it apart It could be before part 12. I may just have to take it all off and measure it. I cant quite see it, I can just feel it.
bmdubya1198
Ah, I see. It's hard to tell in the diagram how it's angled. It almost looks like #12 could have a flexible section.
