stick70
SOLD Listing my daily for sale. I'm trying to get back into a wagon and I can't justify having 2 daily drivers with so many projects kicking around. The price is $2500. They didn't make many of these, and they're tough to find for the people that care. I'm the third owner, the previous was a dealer parts guy and had all his service done at a dealer. What's good about it? PCV system replaced ~10k miles ago New passenger side axle. Front speakers replaced with rockford fosgate units, factory amp was replaced with a functioning one. Good condition brakes. No shudder, good pad life. I may have put pads on it but I can't remember. Fresh Volvo battery in it. Cold A/C, hot heat. Everything works, fan is shady sometimes see below. Starts and gets me where I need to go with zero complaint every day. The springs/dampers were replaced with oem stuff by the previous owner. I did an alignment last year, the delta link bushings were installed wrong. It's all good now. Very quick for it's age, it boosts and hauls like it should. Inside it's very tight. There are no rattles to speak of and the dash is in pretty good shape. The airbag cover is not curled up. What it needs: Tires. They're worn out, it needs a set. Not cords, but down to the wear bars. Due for a timing belt in 4k miles, not a big deal on these things. The fan does this thing sometimes when you shove it to high it'll cut off. I've just been running it at a lower speed for a minute, then it will allow you to go to high. A/C and heat both work well, it hasn't needed a recharge in the 2 years I've had it. The clear coat is hazy on the roof and the passenger doors are wrinkled where someone backed into it. Not awful, but full disclosure here. The front seats are cracking, but again, not terrible for a 1995 that's been used its whole life. https://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/d/hurdle-mills-1995-volvo-850-t5r/6924568727.html Feel free to PM me with any questions. stick70
Odometer currently reads 249k, works, is accurate. Titans were ditched before my ownership, as were the mats. Idk what to tell you on that apart from the guy thought it was a "R", and liked the stuff that had a R on it. The badging is still there, as is the owners manual. Open to reasonable offers, I need this car sold. Added a couple more pictures. This is a well taken care of example, I've had a whole lot of these things and it's in good shape for a driver. I'm selling it because I bought a 960 wagon that needs a little work, and I'd rather be driving it. Plus if I'm going to keep a p80, I should fix my s70 I've had for ever and ever. stick70
You want to show car? This is not it. If you want a good, solid, reliable driver that is dry underneath and has been well taken care of then this is a good candidate.
