19t Turbo Install

Like mentioned in that same post it is my 850T5.

It's the new type manifold with the KKK-K24 of my V70R.

I use a 3" S60T5 downpipe with it and a 2.5" Ferrita catback. Intake is a 3" SS tube with a "green" cone filter at the moment.

The KKK doesn't fit just like that. The coolant pipe behind the turbo needs to be changed.

I meant the turbo off of the S60R, I knew it was your 850. :P

How much work was it getting the KKK to fit/work? The KKK's are nicer than the Mitsu TD04H's, right?

ask Johann, he has one in his 850

don't think there is much of a difference at all between KKK vs. 19T

We usually maintain one 19T in stock at all times. We are waiting for our 18T's to arrive.

I have a 1998 S70, and your site recommends the 18T. Is that just because of the downpipe? Or are there other reasons involved? I plan on replacing the exhuast from the turbo back, and I'm looking ahead to a turbo upgrade. If you could explain the reasoning behind the 18T\19T differences, that would be super. Thanks.

The motronic ECU system on the -1998 850/70 series has a hard time controlling higher boost pressures and boost spikes. This information comes from first hand experiences as well as other sources.

We are getting the straight flange TD04HL-18T. Prices are listed on our site:

Not exactly cheap, but these turbo's are hard to find and expensive regardless of the source.
