turbo16psi
WOW there are some high mileage VR's here. I thought my 06 VR with 108K was a lot. I wont be driving it much with having my 98R and my 91 945T that has 203K and my job is 8 miles from home.

pnichols63
We finally went over 100,000 miles last Thursday. The R is in great shape but we have replaced parts whenever needed.....Front bumper 4 times, rotors, clutch, wheels.......and numerous other mechanical recommendations from the dealer. racinghart86
My 04 just turned over 154k and with this, my first large breakdown. The front differential went out locking the two front wheels together. So it looks like ill be putting a new trans in it this week. Its not all bad though because the clutch that is original was starting to show signs of wear.

tmartin
Hey Everyone, Its been a long time. Update... My last post about mileage was sometime in 2008, my R had 223K miles on it, it will break 311K tomorrow morning Just did the 3rd timing belt last night. It really hasn't had much done to it since the last post.. just a driveshaft (due to a noisy center bearing), couple of sway bar links and a regular maintenance... The engine only has 115K on it, as I replaced it when buying the car because the previous owner ran over something in the road loosing all the coolant and continued to drive until it wouldn't move anymore. The transmission and rear diff are original, and the bevel gear has about 200k on it. Still has original shocks front and rear, drives like a new car and my wife still drives it 100 miles a day. I've completely flushed the trans, along with changing the bevel gear fluid, rear diff and Haldex fluid every 30K. I am so impressed with this car- every time I ask my wife if its time for a new one, she says... "Why"? Below is a picture at a car show last summer, the only indication of the mileage is the severely road rashed front bumper
