Gilhuly
Definitely not worth the money. I just bought a 97 850 R, 96K, very good cond for 7,800. I think the car, if it checks out has to go for a discount to compensate you for your risk - 6K would be about right. Could be a good deal, though. gaterp
How would it take away from the value. I'm planning on doing alot of Mods on any 850r I'm looking at and that cost real money. I'm not planning to buy a car and sell it in a year. I'm looking for something to have for a long time. So for me personnaly it's an added value to have mods already on the car. gaterp
Update: So after the guy let me drive the car for a week and I loved it and after a very favorable second body shop opinion, I’m very satisfied with the car. After seeing the yellow the 850r wagon damaged on the forum(which look a lot worse than this car ) I offered the guy $6900.00.Still waiting for a call back. Also spoke with the DMV in GA and they explaned to me that a certifed repaired car in ga is a clean title as far as they are concerned. As long as the shop is a certifed state repair company.
