NChoy
You have to remeber you are the first one so it never works out perfect the first time threw..........................Might take a good long while to make it perfect ...Actually, he's not the first one with the IPD Stage III flash... I was the "guinea pig" test car for IPD prior to their public release of the Stage III for the AWD platform.I was very pleased with it at the time, but unfortunately with the M66 conversion, the portion of the ECU that talks to the transmission is what I'm concerned about. The tuner in Sweden is WothTune. Hussein is using them, and is very happy. I'm looking at Woth, and a couple of other solutions.

Since when is IPD using Wothrline for their tunes? They have always used MTE tuning over near Stockholm. Maybe I misunderstood and you're just saying you are considering using a tune from Sweden other than IPD.Mike (flyfishing), myself and H are running his tunes and I for one highly recommend it but he may not be able to do customized tuning anymore. He may just have the maps that he's already done over the years.

NChoy
Sorry... been away for a while. Busy with National Guard, then other stuff, but I'm back on track now with the project.Got the motor back from the machine shop. Pistons are .020 over Weisco. I had the crowns ceramic coated, skirts dry-lube coated, and underside oil-shed coated (as well as the H-beam rods). Entire rotating assembly has been balanced from damper to flywheel/pressure plate. Started painting the block yesterday, and fitted the S60R head gasket (pretty nice... reminds me of the Cometic version).A view inside from the bottom:Interior is all back in, including the center console, shifter assy. and Heico shift knob (note the 6-speed gate map on the console!)In case anyone was wondering what I look like... the photo credit goes to my lovely wife:Infinity Reference Series separates installed (woofers in front and rear doors, tweeters in dash and rear cargo area):Rockford Fosgate 900w amp installed in rear cargo area:I'm picking up the M66 from the shop on Wednesday (new seals and angle gear collar being installed). In the meantime I'm building the subwoofer box (small one), and finalizing the rear view camera. Pics of all this stuff to come.
NChoy
I didn't give up on this project (not yet anyway). Just took a couple of weekends off because of work, and forgot the camera a couple of times. The progress from this past weekend:Installed the clutch/pressure plate and trans (pressure plate is a Stage-3 Spec unit, clutch is a custom 850R disc with S60R splined center... sorry pics of the p/p and disc on my other computer):On went the head (thank goodness I was able to borrow all the Volvo service tools from my friend's shop... made the job much less painful)...Coolant pipe, exhaust manifold, turbo, and heat shield installed:Timing belt, tensioner, idler pulley installed:Then I ran out of time. Had to go to dinner with the in-laws. Will pick up where I left off next time. May have more pics of the stereo install as well.

Rob Karloff
Timing belt, tensioner, idler pulley installed:Glad to see you took heed of my warning on the aftermarket crank hub Nick. Would have been a great shame to have seen you have crank problems down the line due to lack of a harmonic damper all for the sake of a some bling and rotating weight saving that you'd be lucky to ever actually notice! Everything looks very clean and tidy, you'll have a ripper of a car when you get done.
