mikie
I really want the BBS RGR's but they are soooo expensive... I wouldn't be able to do any other mods till next summer!I love pegs but they are common...Other wheels I like are the kahn RSR (the old heico rims) and the heico volutions...Any ideas????? T-5Bandit
You will never get 20 hp from a N/A chip. You will maybe yield 5hp to 8hp to the wheels.

You will maybe yield 5hp to 8hp to the wheels.←So hp to the wheels is different then claiming 20hp and 20 torque without stating "to the wheels? EST Powerchip claims 3Hp to 18HP through the entire RPM range, and torque gains 11 - 20. Anyway I am playing to get it eventually and I guess I will go on the dyno before and after just to see whats going on.Anyway about the rims I think I'm more on the side of the heico rims now. JCviggen
I am willing to bet you wouldnt gain even 5 whp with a chip alone on an N/AAs for the wheels, not sure but personally I'd be worried to leave my car anywhere with expensive BBS wheels
Gregg
my vote is for the RGRs. You don't want to settle for wheels you aren't really happy with.Rren't the RGRs also about 8-10lbs lighter than the Pegs? Surely that's also got to count for something in terms of the handling of the car. I also have my heart set on RGRs. Right now the cheapest I've found them for is about $480 at SPP (for 17"). Have you found any good prices for them anywhere else?

I dont know why u are still thinking! ←Well they seem to be first pick for most, probably cause of the price/looks.That's what I meant by "common", lot's of people have them. I like the pegs but I feel as if I am basing my opinion on price because they are so cheap compare to most other wheels. I question myself; if they were closer to the price of other wheels would I still get them????gmischenko,The RGR's are about 20lbs I believe (18"), so far I haven't look too hard for prices but I got one; $810Cnd. Does anyone know were I could get Kahn wheels here in Canada or US?
patrick
RGRs are 17 lbs for the 17x7.5's, are worth every penny and will look worlds better than pegs, dont even think about those. an NA chip could potentially make that much power if one would successfully advance the ignition timing and add a good bit more fuel. combined w/ maybe some slightly larger injectors, the basic bolt ons and a bigger coil it should work nicely, sort of as a bmw style upgrade package. im not sure how well the current chips are at doing this, that are available, id be interested to try them myself. I need new wheels for this summer that's for sure!Oh oppps! I had to search for this thread, I just realized that we have a poll section, sorry I didn't realize... C70drvr
18" Pegs all the way. I plan to get them after I get my car.
Volvoson
Get a set of 16" Perfos That would look good, be pretty light weight, and just do some crazy paint job on them for half the price it would cost to get ONE RGR!Pegs are awesome, but if you want, get some Neptunes Non-common wheel, looks pretty good, and OEM quality.
