MikeH
so adding an IDP sway bar, you actually notice a difference in steering?hmmm←Not in steering but handling. Reduces body roll.
billr99
I'd rather install something like the original. I don't race the car at all, I have been driving with a broken bar for god knows how long and I don't have problems. How much would be an original or near original bar?←I wouldn't worry about IPD bars being "racy". They actually firm up the handling but really don't have a huge effect on ride. I haven't put them on my R yet, but have had them on all my other Volvos over the years and they are really excellent with good value/quality for the money. But that whole exchange rate/duty/shipping thing does make them a toss up versus going and getting something at a dealer. You can alway try the junkyard approach, but those might be in as bad a shape as the one you have. I know here in North Bay you waste your time getting junkyard bits becuase they are in pretty sad shape after all the years in the crud and slop of winter.Good luck,Bill
Geevs
That could be a good idea!Only problem is I live in Montreal Canada, so shipping from Floride would be propably be a killer!I have a spare front bar from a 1995 850R, and I'm from BC, Canada. I sent you a PM. Thanks.
